Bar Codes for Your CDs, DVDs, Cassettes or Videos

In order to sell your product in stores, you’ll need a barcode. If you would like us to put a bar code on your CD, DVD, Cassette or Video, you have several options.

• You may already own a bar code for your project. If so, we’d be happy to place your barcode somewhere on your art work free of charge!
• If you do not have an existing bar code, you can either buy one from us or buy one from the Uniform Code Council.
• If you choose to purchase your bar code from us, we’ll do the work for you! For a flat fee of $35 you’ll get a bar code for your project. It is important for you to know, however, that we purchase bar codes from a company called Independent Records. If you purchase a bar code from us, that bar code will show their company name, as well as your artist’s name and title when it is scanned.
• You may also buy a manufacturer’s bar code from the Uniform Code Council. If you aren’t sure which way is best for you, we recommend contacting the Uniform Code Council. If you do choose to purchase your own unique bar code from them, we would be happy to insert it on to your artwork.
